From house to house, together weekly
At Multiply Movements we gather together weekly. We see in Acts chapter 2 that the church was meeting in the temple and from house to house. We gather in homes, cafes, schools and parks in both smaller and larger groups.

Acts 2:36-47 provides us with a simple framework for the expressed elements of a Disciple Making Church. Through the coaching process we help all of our Disciple Making Church leaders to develop and grow across these areas.
What a healthy micro church practises
These are the twelve elements we see in Acts 2:36-47. We coach every leader to practise them regularly and to empower each believer in the group to facilitate them.

An extended spiritual family of disciple makers
DMCs are an extended spiritual family of disciple makers, led by ordinary people, who continue the mission of Jesus here on earth.
Their makeup can be formed from
- Shared interests
- Friendships
- Geographical location
- Shared missional purpose
The location of a Disciple Making Church could vary from someone’s home to a park or a coffee shop. Sunday morning works for some, while others will prefer to meet on Saturday afternoon or Tuesday night. The model is flexible to suit the needs of the group.
We encourage every believer to be connected to and regularly participating in a Disciple Making Church. It is the place where we can see Acts 2:42-47 outworked and multiplication strategies and discipleship take place.
Healthy micro churches
A micro church is healthy when:
- The 12 elements of Acts 2:36-47 are expressed and practised regularly.
- Every believer in the group is empowered to facilitate each of these 12 elements.
- Micro church leaders are supported through coaching and ongoing training.
In micro churches, believers have the time to pray for each other, study the word together and ask questions. Pastoral care takes place firstly in the micro church, not by a designated pastor. The believers meet each other’s needs and are aware of what each member is going through.
An explosive Disciple Makers Conference, once a year
We gather together with missionaries who are making disciples once a year. These conferences are open to anyone who is passionate about making disciples.
We see in the Great Command that the greatest thing we can do is to love Him and one another. At our Missionary Conferences, we want to encounter and love Him together through extended times of worship, prophecy and prayer.
We also see in the Great Commission that we have been called to 'go' into the harvest and make disciples. As well as encountering Him, we will spend time together being strategically equipped to be sharp and effective missionaries for the harvest.
When we partner as a strategic and equipped people with the intimacy of knowing His love and voice, there will be no stopping the spread of The Gospel in our nation and beyond!
